In December I ran a giveaway on my social media giving 1 person the chance to have any 1 infantry-sized figure of their choice painted by myself (all the works). I was elated that my winner picked Gotrek Gurnisson, possibly my favourite Warhammer character ever.

Gotrek was an absolute joy to paint. The recipient asked that I use elements from my own Fyreslayer collection to paint Gotrek as he had seen an Auric Runemaster I had recently painted featured in White Dwarf (which was very flattering). I took the opportunity to push myself with my TMM and OSL techniques and I'm very happy with how he turned out.
