Before the fall
Hospitalier standard bearer at Krak de Chevallier before the fall of the fortress to Mamluk sultan Baibars in 1271. Inspired by Nemo's beautiful Gold medal offering "Intruder". It was the perfect subject to try my hand at painting red on a large scale.
