This is my version of the Guild of Harmony Steam Punk Alice in Wonderland with Rabbit. I painted this up for the http://www.brushbrothers.de/board54-brushbrothers-contest-corner/2788-brushbrothers-märchen-wettbewerb-2013-abstimmung/Brushbrothers Forum Fairy Tales contest, and am happy to see that it came second ( by 1 vote! ) in the contest!

This is my first real step into painting better, and I took a lot of advice and feedback throughout the project from many sources, but especially from those at the Brushbrothers Forum community. I tried a lot of new things with regards to this piece, and really tried to focus the light coming from the front of the diorama instead of directly above.

Hopefully others like and appreciate this diorama also.

Cheers!

As told to you in real life: The speed on how you learn and improve amazes me!
    • Kyle "Mr Lee" Cruickshank

Thanks Roman. I think it is half speed of learning, and half what I was taught at the right moments. Many click moments on this as well. Thanks again for the comments, feedback, and inspiration as always!

    Fantastic base and colors...well done!

Just as Roman says, a huge leap compared to your older projects! You should fix the white balance, because your photos are too cold.
    • Kyle "Mr Lee" Cruickshank

Thanks Phil.. it is another aspect of the hobby that I am working on. But these are still the best photos I have to date on the piece.. and trying to use your article on how to take better photos. Each session I see improvement, and that is what counts :) Again, thanks for the compliments! Wait for my current project to land ;)
