Two magic casters and a babysitting swashbuckler is the more typical whimsical RPG team you might find my family in – we definitely side on the comical rather than efficient side of life :D

This was my “Nonte” project over the Monte San Savino long weekend. Unfortunately, it also corresponded with me being very sick over the same weekend – so I will remember this one for a few things.

I was playing around with a more desaturated palette than usual to try play some colour nuance games I’ve seen in some of my favourite 2D art. I also wanted to start experimenting with ideas around contre jour style lighting and focusing on atmosphere and the more global composition games you can find in dioramas rather than on the specific figure.
