I'm huge fan of The Sandman сomics by Neil Gaiman.
Finally I got this 1998 figure from DC Direct. “Arabian Nights Sandman Limited Edition Mini-Statue”.
In terms of miniatures this “MINI-statue” is pretty big)) Actually, this is the biggest thing I ever painted (about 14cm high). The sculpt by Randy Bowen is awesome, and the factory painting not so much. So I decided to repaint the statue myself and to do my best to make the best tribute to the my favourite comic series..
I tried to follow original color theme of P Craig Russell (the artist of the comic issue on which the sculpt is based).

Everyone who did not I highly recommend read the Sandman (or listen the new audio adaptation). It's worth it)
