It had been many years since he had drawn his blade, for sport or anger. Comfortable years have been the norm, survived by reputation, you didn’t live this long without earning it. It was to be another peaceful afternoon, but this insult was not to be forgiven. Staring down the young dandy, a spark lit his eyes as he grinned. ‘So you would like to dance young man?’

My interpretation of the Nordlys Miniatures sculpt Laird McArine (sculpted by Magnus Fagerberg). Hope you enjoy this old man. Slightly converted.
