I wasn’t sure how I wanted to paint the actual boils and pustules... with the eyes so busy, I wanted to keep the boils in contrast. I didn’t want to go with something warm like red or orange ‘cause the flesh tones would also be warm, so I ultimately chose a sickly green color to stand away from the healthy green eyes.
Experimented with some different ways of blending on those boils, too. Almost all of them have a different approach (which you can see if you look close enough)... still trying to get to a point where I know exactly what to expect with a blending style. =P Tried some new approaches that could be promising, literally a blend of two different blending styles I like, lol. Gotta experiment some more...
