I’ve wanted to paint this miniature for a long time, it’s one of the best of the GW LOTR line.
Julien Casses made a very impressive version of this miniature; it’s difficult to not copy him! I used his composition with the sloped ground and a tree instead of a column.
I played with the color harmony, using a lot of Catachan Green and Camo green.
The color of the base is an exact copy of the color of the miniature.
