Hello all. I painted this back in July which feels like such a long time ago now. I haven’t shown it because it was for the eavier metal eadbanger mod competition which had to remain anonymous until it was announced.

It was my attempt to do a cyberpunk themed blue and magenta light mk2 as a sequel to my nalani the desert born done in the same style but this time I used three light sources. In the end maybe I didn’t choose the best placement for the lights because all the cool light interaction happens on the back of the model. It’s a case of the back of the model perhaps looking better than the front which is weird as I usually skimp on the back.

This was my first real experience with blending three lights and that three colour blending is a real brain bender.

    Nice..You did say you were going to paint a white version à la 'The Major'. I almost wish you had also painted the left arm white but the blue reflected light on skin here is awesome. It's interesting what you say about the rear view. This model has interesting anatomy at the back which deserves not to be neglected..I am currently painting this model and it does feel like I have to work harder on the back than on the primary front view...
