I chose this model first and foremost because I was specifically looking for a single character model to paint. I really liked the ornate armour, dramatic pose and striking base. It was my very good fortune that it was later anounced as the ‘Eavy Metal' Paint Masters for Warhammer Fest 2019. At that point I gave it a thorough going over to finess the details ready for the comp.
