This figure was a huge step out of my comfort zone. I didn't plan in the beginning to pour resin around her, but the idea formed as I was painting her, and I decided I had to do it. I did a ton of test resin pours that mostly failed miserably in various ways. Resin pours like this are something I hadn't really done before. Eventually I decided I had probably learned enough about what not to do with the resin that she would survive it, and she did!

I took her to the NOVA Open Capital Palette painting competition, and received a Silver in Masterclass Bust, and the Massive Voodoo Most Creative award for her.
