I've been asked a few times now where Newt is but I wanted to just focus on the Xenomorph itself because it's just such an amazing design and iconic.
The painting isn't the most technical I'll admit and it really relies on the gloss varnish and water effect. But I'm really pleased with it.
Have to thank Richard Sharp twice on this one. Firstly for the way to create water strings and then some photography tips.

This is more a combination of ideas from different places. Wet in wet painting, using transparent paint, UHU ugly strings, and transparent lining gel. Might not look simple but it really is. I just got lucky that it worked. More about playing around and having some fun.Bran
