Cthulhu is an great old one, a great god from beyond time and space and he sleeps in the city R'lyeh under the sea oftentimes he is represented in dark green and other desaturated colors, but I imagined him more like a living coral reef in all its color and glory.

This Bust by Mr. Lees Minis has been the result of a workshop, a challenge by my friend Markus and the desire to create a study where I can use the whole range of primary and secondary colors on one project and in harmony. It went through several iterations in the process of its creation and I would like to thank Roman Lappat, Aleksandra Tana Cvetanovski and Markus for their repeated input during the process.

It was painted using solely Lascaux Sirius & Neon paints, mixing all colors from five basic colors and their fluo counterparts.

Although this project is finished, I am very thankful for your advice and criticism and will try to encorporate it in future projects.

Such an interesting and hard bist to tackle. I am really proud in the outcome of yours and happy that I was of help. Love it!

As told you already at the HvB. I very much like your version of this bust. Very colorful and still a very good focus.

Thank you, knowing your own pieces (and what I admire of them), that is a high praise.

Well. We talked about this one in person, and I was there when you started it. I always love it to see the finished versions of minis I saw artist friends working on. And this one I really like. For me, it's the best version of the bust I have seen thus far; and as you know I usually don't dig color explosions... ;-) Really cool work, HR. Looking forward to your next project!
