General James Wolfe
painted
by
Ron Francis
General James Wolfe at Quebec 1759, Fort Duquesne Miniatures, painted with acrylics. Wolfe was a pale sickly man with very pale gray eyes, red complexion (probably rosacea), and bright red hair, not an attractive person. I tried to capture that. He also wore a very pain uniform and a black sash tied on his arm to show he was grieving for his mother who had passed.
