Waterloo 1815 - The last stand — This is an 120mm six figures diorama (16x22 base dimensions) released by the Mitches Military Models, depicting the last stand of theNapoleonic Old Guard at Waterloo ("Merde! La garde meurt et ne se pare pas!"). In the eyes and the body positions of the grenadiers, we see the chaos of the battle and the despair for their personal fate.
The figures are painted with oils on an enamel basecoat. Dirt, mud and blood were kept to the minimum necessary by the drama of the scene.
