This Ice Golem was my first finished Malifaux figure. I originally entered him in the 2014 GenCon painting competition still as a work-in-progress and unbased. He didn't place or anything, but I was happy to get him entered, since he was the first figure I'd completed to where I was relatively happy with him after a long period of "artist's block." After GenCon and mounted on a proper base, I added more shading and definition, painted up the base, and used ice/snow effects for the first time.

He's on a Secret Weapon Miniatures 50mm Town Square base, using their Crushed Glass Bundle with added paint and acrylic medium for the ice and snow effects.
