This was one of my favorite commissions. Setting Captain Tycho in his last battle, and doing a modern interpretation of an old classic model, was a lot of fun. I based the pose on Adrian Smith's painting of Tycho, and did a bit of sculpting, like the face mask, the three blood drops on the shoulder's wing, and treads on the Ork's boots. This was my first time doing the black edge around the concrete to suggest the cut-out of a scene, rather than a random isolated outcrop. It is so much better that way!
