This was a real project of love all the way through - it's an incredible sculpt, set in a really interesting part of history, and I got to make a knight that looks almost exactly like the knights in the books I read as a kid. I was really pleased that he was also part of my historical display at Herzog von Bayern that won a bronze, then went on to pick up a gold at the BMSS Annual Show.<br />

I'll be really happy never to paint an Occitan cross again, though.
