Thanks again Clive. I tried to paint the red and blue more muted or worm out than normal, except for the horseman dress, more clean colors. The picture do not show a lot of different...
another great knight !
as you saw I apinted the plain version so I could do some original heraldry.
your version is excellent !
I had great trouble with the very thin and flexible sword ...
hope you strenghtended strongly the fig as a friend of mine had its knight bending over ...
you will not have this probleme with the Cossack as it is very well balanced
Yes, you are right... I did not have problems with the Black Prince, till the moment... but I have already bad experienes with other figures.
Your job in plain version Knigh has much more merit... The cossack is a future project. Probabley next summer. Some picture show de coat in blue. I will see..
I totally agree about the muted colour, Antonio…The 'campaign' look is best and also the dyes would be more muted in Medieval times, as they would be from natural sources…this just works so well in your figure here…I often feel that very complex heraldic designs are too exaggerated in colour, because they are in miniature!…Hopefully you have this piece well pinned to stop it bending!
