I would like to situate this diorama in Cordoba (Spain), around 1350.For the sign on the door, I struggled with the content (especially with all the current craziness in the Middle East) and I finally decided for "peace be with you" in Arabic.
I have never done such an extensive bibliographical work on designs and colors for ceramics for the period.Every ceramic design that you see in the diorama is a copy of ceramics shown at the British Museum.
