This model from Scale75 represents captain Ahab (from H. Melville´s novel Moby Dick) in a steampunk version. The original miniature has other equipment, including a harpoon carried on his back. I do like the figure, but I wanted to give it a melancholic atmosphere showing an old sailor looking at the sea with his dog beside him.
To achieve this I had to modify the miniature, filling holes and sculpting part of the missing coat. The dock or pier was handmade using miniature bricks and styrofoam.
