GOLIATH THE COLLECTOR
Hi, today I would like to show Goliath the Collector sculpted by Stephane Simon. The sculpting and casting is real master quality. Painting Goliath was a great long run to finish. Lots of cool smal details, inbetween long gradiations to be painted. I choosed a too complex coloursheme for me, but needed it as a challenge. At the end i am very happy and I hope you enjoy
too.
The miniature is availible here: http://simonminiaturesculptor.blogspot.com/
The Colours for NMM are:
Basecolour: Light Grey
Orange Areas:
Base: Merins Fire (Rackham Colour) + Beastial Brown (GW) 1:4
Lights1: Base + more Merins Fire
+ Sand Yellow (Vallejo) or Ice Yellow (Vallejo) for a cold nuance
For a bigger saturation I used here and there some Process Yellow (Vallejo Liquid Acrylic) into the lights.
Lights 2: Lights 1 higlited with Pale Sand up to Ivory.
Shades: Hull Red or Hull Red + Dark Sea Blue or Abyssal Blue (Rackham Colour)
Glazes here and there with New Wood (Vallejo Panzer Aces) mixed with a little bit Merins Fire to soften the transitions.
Greenblue - Grey Areas:
Base: Dark Sea Blue + some Hull Red + Process Blue (Vallejo Liquid Acrylic) to raise the saturation .
Lights: Base + Edelblue (Rackham Colour) und Verdigris (Gamecolour)
Oxidation: Edelblue (Rackham) + Emerald Green (Modelcolour) + Verdigris (Gamecolour)
Oxidation: Hull Red + Merins Feuer
