This was an exercise in colour harmony and subtle contrast following a discussion and seminar with Mike Blank at Folkestone in September 2017. In many ways this is a tribute to Mike and so I hope I pulled it off.

I wanted to create an ambiance that spoke of how tired and fed up the soldier was with war, especially Civil War.
