In this miniature I practices and experimented with what I learned in Jar's Advanced Course: painting atmosphere. I envisioned Tamara running through the forest of her homeland.
The miniature is the Feral model of Darksword's Female Nude Study series, sculpted by the unrivalled Tom Meyer. I really like his sculpting, so fragile, realistic and lifelike. I also bought this mini for myself and am looking forward to painting her again - in another atmosphere :-)

Reallly cool, David. I can see what you studied on her and I like it. I only think the photos are a bit dark in the shadows from below. It does look plain black there. I will tell you a riddle to make better photos on dark background: think about the same things I explained about light in my advanced class and maybe add something to your photo setup that can help bring light to your shadow areas too :)David KuehnPLUS
