I had this idea in the back of my head for a while and it all came together over a weekend, the idea of showing a priestess using dead horses in a symbiotic way. A horse lover myself, I wanted the sculpt to set a scene and tell a story, which is why her caressing hand was so important to me.
This was my most detailed sculpt and my proudest one in my 9 months of 3D sculpting, but Im eager to improve and I learned a lot from this process.
