I had always wanted to paint the Fleet Commander from GW, so when all the other guys painted a rouge trader, it was the perfect opportunity to have some fun with it. Besides the extensive conversions on the model, the base is built entirely from scratch. The screen gave me the opportunity to tell a little story and the chance to try out a proper freehand for the first time.
