I painted this one straight from the Dark Imperium box when it arrived. I always wanted to paint yellow in some form of glossy armour. Since I was sick of always having plasma weapons in blue, I decided to use orange/red instead. Not that much of a contrast than green or purple would have been, but green is also so much of clichee to me and purple... I'm not sure people wouldn't have slapped me for using purple on a Space Marine ;)
