I always wanted to see a sci-fi version of Sherlock Holmes, so I created my own. I am surprised that (asode for a few contemporary ones) new victorian incarnations keep being created, because to me Sherlock Holmes is an universal character, not bound to living in a particular period of history. I think I was inspired by the “Chappie” movie – I fell in love with the concept of near future and difficult beginnigs in relations between humans and robots. I loved this comical helplessness.

In my creation it’s Dr. Watson who is the main character, a creator of a superinteligent robot. This is the very first H0L-M35, and his appearance has been inspired by 200-years-old sketches, as the thing is set in 2104.
