I just finished painting my second project, 1/10 scale bust sculpted by The Master Raúl García Latorre for Heroes & Villains.

My version of this popular bust depicts a Germanic warrior enjoying the warmth of a bonfire the night before the Battle of Teutoburg Forest (9 A.D.)

      Thanks a lot, it was one of the main things I had in mind from the begining: to go from pure black on the "night" side to the warm white of the areas enlightened by the bonfire.

      Thank you very much. The thing is, there were already so many brilliant versions of this bust (which by the way is amazingly sculpted, as Latorre's work always is) that I wanted to do something different, try to come up with a compeltely new version. It was a lot of fun.
