Good work on the skin and a vibrant red! How do you obtained it?
    • Milan "Taiko" Dufek

Thank you Luca. For the red, I have used Valleyo and Andrea colors. Napoleon red (AC), Vermilion red (VC), for lights and green and blue for shadows but don´t remember the names. Sorry.

Lovely work. The red looks suitably royal.

Beautiful bust. The level of realism of the skin is impressive. Do you remember what colors you have used for the skin? Congrats! Gold for you
    • Milan "Taiko" Dufek

Thank you Jorge. I am glad you like it. Here is the recipe ;) Acryl base: Burnt Cadmium Red and Yellow Ochre for the base. Then I added Flat Blue(little bit) and white to lighten. I make two tones and use airbrush to aplay it. Darker tone from below and lighter from above Oil colors: Terra rossa, Yellow ochre, Cobalt blue and Titan white - for the base tone, Titan white and Neapoli yellow light for lights. Terra tossa and Cobalt blue for shadows and Brown madder elizarine and Umber natural for tones.

The use of color on the face carries further the effect of this well painted focus of this bust. It's outstanding use of color to simulate life and likeness of a real person. Well done . Now that is how you paint bud.
