This is the "Random Encounter" dwarf from FeR which I painted a couple of years ago. The picture is taken by the judges of 08open in 2016 where this piece won the "figures" category.

I wanted the story to be about a love adventuring dwarf in a dungeon who suddenly realize that his sword lights up - indicating that there are troll-bloods nearby. Yes, just as in the famous book.
