This was my miniature for the 20 year challenge on the Eavier Metal group. This miniature is very much my Everest. I've had it since I was about 10, I painted it once (very badly) then (sadly no pictures survive!) and when I retook the hobby up 4 years ago it was my second miniature to paint. I stripped off the old paintjob, got about 60% in and stopped. He's sat on my desk since waiting for the day. Rather than strip it and start for a third time I decided to try and save the paintjob and see how much I'd learnt in the last 4 years. I modified nearly every area and finally he's finished.
