This miniature was given to me as a gift by my dear painting friend Florian Weinheimer, who had sculpted it as well. Somehow I just had to give this serene monk a quiet spot where he can say his prayers over and over again :)
The way you have based this model really adds to the feeling of serenity for me. I think it's the slightly overgrown plants? A very cool effect that adds to this well painted piece
