I got the bug for this hobby 10 years ago, thanks to my father (a modellist too) and since then I have kept painting and sometimes sculping, both historical and fantasy miniatures. I love making transformations, for me is really difficult to be completely satisfied with the original product, there is always something that can be improved or adapted to my own tastes. My favourite historical periods are the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. I only use acrylics.
