Have been painting figures for about 20 years now, first a few years using oils, then switched to acrylics. I used to paint Historical’s only, but after being too ill to paint for a couple of years I looked for something I could finish fast. Stupidly I thought that the smaller scale (28mm) wouldn’t take as much time as a bigger one. Very, very stupid of me. Now I mainly paint fantasy, with an historical from time. Before I got ill I participated often in competitions, and did win from time to time, wrote articles for various magazines and even painted a couple of “boxarts”, mainly for Alpine miniatures. I hope to be able to attend the 2020 World Expo in Eindhoven, if health permits.
