Hi I’m Cale Meyer.
Kinda got into painting by chance 3 years ago. My kids got me 40K paint set with a couple of models and pots of paint for my birthday. I kinda put off doing them for ages as I have literally never painted in my life and didn’t think I could do it as a person with dyslexia I have had a hard time most my life when it comes to things like writing. Trust me I’m worse than a doctor and I have 0% talent at drawing.
I finally got around to the start set and in the process of cleaning the models with a scalpel I sliced my thumb open and bleed all over the place. That was my first 10mins into the 40K hobby. I made a post about it on reddit that blew up and everyone saying blood for the blood god and Khorne chose me. So that was my first step into chaos and I had so much fun painting I kept at it.
