I have been into the hobby for many years but only started to paint non GW stuff when I discovered Malifaux. Through that and joining WAMP i met so many talented painters Scott Hockley, John keys, Marta Slusarska, Shane Rozzel, Redrum J and many others and through them I met many many other painters such as Luke Wilson ( thanks For the Invite ;-)) and John Harrison,all these guys are a massive inspiration and a very good saurce for all things hobby related.
after painting malifaux minis for gameing i started to paint mainly other gaming minis, but then I took a leap to paint a bust, Kiros form MDC purchased from MDP. for my first go it wasnt so bad but needed massive improvement. thats where all the above came into their own. offering advice and technique info. over the last few years my standard has risen painting alongside Terry “Phattkid” Cowell who encouraged me to push further, and from that i am still learning.
When i am not painting I build dioramas or projects for friends. I will be uploading a few of them here and a few i have started but put on hold while i push my painting.
Well that a brief history of moving from gamer to painter..
