Latecomer to the hobby (in my 40s), never been overly artistic or creative previously, partly due to being colour blind and unable to identify colours (yeah, that’s really helpful). Got the bug for scale modelling and have tried to expand my range of skills with each and every build/project. I enjoy the process of building and painting and get a great deal of satisfaction from viewing other’s work, it’s an inspiration. It’s unlikely that I’ll ever be a master, I just want my stuff to be passable.
