Mongolian Horseman of the first half of the XIII century.
The image on the shield I took from later sample that was found in Crimea. In the XIII century Crimea was annexed to the Golden Horde by the great general of Genghis Khan Subutai. Similar images can be seen on shields of lineal descendants of Mongolian warriors of the XIII century. For this reason this image was also selected.
