Really happy that you like the concept and the idea/message behind it :)
Would love to see your take on it in the future. I will definatly paint another one and maybe another one as my mind is racing with ideas for it.
Thank you, Matthieu. I am happy to hear that as I know our both ways of painting are differently. I mean mine nowadays is all about brushstrokes and not smooth blends. Alfonso influanced me so much and right now this is the painter in me that comes out of this. I am really happy that you have an open mind and also enjoy and accept different things :) - keep on happy painting!
Thank you Francesco. I am really happy that you enjoy this concept and the idea. I know that you will often not enjoy my paintjobs from the perspective of supergreat amazing blendings. Just wanted to tell you that I am absolutely fine with this. Not a problem. Right now I decide to paint like this, it might change in the future again. And I am thankful that you see me on top of several things, I intend not to be as from my perspective this miniature world needs no penis challenge. We are all old enough and need to push this passion forward as one to make it bigger in the future. Thank you my friend. I am sad I won't be able to come to MSS this year, but we will see at SMC :)
Many thanks! Learned so much about painting owls you can not imagine. I did not try to copy the real thing as I looked up so many owls. I tried to paint my interpretation of what I have seen on my research, but still Owls are not the easiest thing to paint, but a good challenge for research and understanding what there is to do.
Many thanks, Albert. Yes there is one year of conceptual work, teaming up with Romain and finally painting it, in there. A lot of myself and the love for the subject in it. I am happy that you can see it :)
I am trying to imagine how delighted you were to paint something that comes directly from your mind, interpreted by one of the great sculptors. And then in your hands to make it come to life with colours, in special interpretation :) All compliments. ^^
Great as usuall for You Roman!!! A Great painting style on a Great sculpure...I like very much like You have done all the green wood effects: like it was a skin and not only wood...What else? Gold...
