This is a small vignette I created in early 2016 for the Duke of Bavaria. It was my first competition piece, is my first piece here, and will always hold a special place in my heart.

The scene depicted shows the aftermath of a bloody battle in a fantastic world, in which the avatar of the god of war walks the battlefield, in his wake the ubiquitous birds of war, crows and ravens feasting on the dead and wounded...
