I was inspired by Gareth Nicholas' version, though my blends are nowhere near as smooth. The loin-cloth came out better than the armor. I think I'm better with textures than I am with smooth blends.

The other part of my inspiration was my own desert wanderer. When I find a color scheme I'm really happy with, I tend to use it a few times before I get tired of it. ;)

She placed first in the Infinity competition at Gen Con, as judged by their studio painter Angel Giraldes, which was fun.
